Digital Archive of Resistance follows people’s reactions during the political and social crisis in Bolivia starting at the end of 2019. These responses are displayed through screenshots taken from WhatsApp group chats, social media sites, such as Facebook and Instagram, and newspaper articles online. The form of the scroll book allows the reader to look at all the images at once, in contrast to the ephemeral phone scroll experience. The addition of embroidery encourages slowness in the process of both making and reading, asking the viewer to stop, touch and slow down; this is in contradiction with the velocity of navigating the internet and the usual pace of news cycles. Lastly, the stem used to hang the book references the meaning of the word stem: looking at how problems originate and what they are caused by. The reader is given a small guide which explains the color coding organization of the embroidery. 

Archivo Digital de Resistencia persigue las reacciones de la gente durante la crisis política y social en Bolivia a raíz de los eventos que tomaron lugar a finales del 2019. Estas respuestas son presentadas a través de capturas de pantalla de grupos de WhatsApp y otros tipos de comunicación virtual, así como Facebook, Instagram y artículos de periódicos online. El formato del libro en desplazamiento le permite al lector  observar todas las imágenes al mismo tiempo, en contraste a la experiencia efímera de “desplazar” el contenido en el teléfono celular. Los detalles en bordado exhortan lentitud en el proceso tanto de hacer como de leer, pidiéndole al lector que se pause, toque y vaya más despacio; esto se puede ver en contradicción con la velocidad de navegar el internet y el ritmo habitual de los ciclos de noticias. El lector recibe una pequeña guía que explica la organización del código de colores en el bordado, haciendo referencia a la necesidad de categorizar y entender en medio de situaciones abrumadoras.
